Jeśli widziałeś mój poprzedni wpis, to wiesz, że mam w planach użycie na tej witrynie biblioteki CSS albo JS.
W tamtym wpisie pisałem o tym jak wielu osobm mogłoby to utrudnić dostęp do witryny, głownie tym, które używają
przeglądarek bez wsparcia dla JavaScript. Powinniśmy sobie zadać jednak jedno pytanie: "Ile osób używa przeglądarki WWW bez lub z ograniczonym wsparciem JavaScript?".
Odpowiedź na to pytanie jest następująca: "bardzo mało". Chrome jest obecnie najbardziej używaną przeglądarką i zawiera on automatyczny aktualizator, który
pobiera nowe wersje jak tylka zostaną opublikowane. Dwie bardzo popularne przeglądarki: Edge i Firefox też mają mają auto-aktualizatory. Trudno znaleźć w dzisiejszych czasach
kogoś kto używa starszej wersji jakiejś przeglądarki WWW i kto nie jest zaawansowanym użytkownikiem.
Na pierwszy rzut oka może się to wydawać dziwne; dlaczego zaawansowany użytkownik miałby być bardziej podatny na używanie starszych przeglądarek takich jak Lynx czy W3M?
Nie tak dawno temu, to właśnie komputerowi spece używali najnowszych technologii i śmiali się z niedoświadczoncyh użytkowników Internet Explorera, ale ostatnio
wygląda to odwrotnie. Typowy Jan Kowalski używa najnowszej wersji Chrome albo Firefox, podczas gdy wszyscy "spece od Lunixa" używają rzeczy takich jak Lynx czy W3M.
Te przeglądarki nie wyświetlają obrazków (oczywiście) oraz wielu innych elementów HTML, nie biorą pod uwagę także arkuszów CSS.

If you've seen my previous post, you know that I'm considering using a CSS or JS library for my site.
In that post, I mentioned how this would prevent some people from viewing my pages, particularly those who
use browsers w/out JavaScript support. There is one question we have to ask ourseleves, though, that question
being "How many people use a browser with limited (or no) JavaScript support?". The answer to that question is,
not many. Chrome is currently the most used browser and it has an auto-updater that updates the browser to the latest
version whenever a new update comes out. Firefox and Edge, the two other popular browsers, both have auto-updaters.
It's quite hard to find someone who's using an outdated Web browser nowadays, and who's not an advanced user.
At first glance, it may seem weird; why would an advanced user be more likely to use outdated Web browsers such as Lynx or W3M?
Not so long ago, it was the computer enthusiasts who would embrace the latest technologies and laugh at the inexperienced users, or "normies"*,
who used Internet Explorer, but now, it seems like the roles have switched; the average Joe Schmoe uses the latest versions of Chrome or Firefox, while all
the "Lunix enthusiasts" use stuff like Lynx or W3M.
Those browsers don't render images (obviously) and several other HTML elements, they don't render CSS either.
